The African gaming industry is set to gather in Dakar, Senegal, as the Sports Betting West Africa+ (SBWA+) Summit 2026 and the Gaming Event Francophone Africa (GEFA) 2026 join forces for a major industry event from October 14–16, 2026.
For the first time, both conferences will take place together, creating a platform for gaming professionals from across Africa and beyond to discuss the latest trends shaping the market, including regulation, technology, payments, online betting growth, and investment opportunities.
The three-day event will bring together key industry stakeholders, including sports betting operators, online casino brands, regulators, affiliates, software providers, legal experts, payment companies, and technology specialists from both English-speaking and French-speaking African markets.
The event will officially begin on October 14 with the SBWA+ Welcoming & Eventus Awards Evening, featuring networking opportunities and the presentation of the SBWA+ Eventus Awards, which recognise outstanding achievements across Africa’s gaming sector.
